Belong to the Truth Jesus Christ

I just got a message from someone telling me a nice story. I'm waiting for her permission to post the story.. what I'd like to know is .. is there any church in Thailand, probably in Bangkok, that is situated on the river and has the statue of Mother Mary outside the church? The church must be old, in the generation of our great grandfather, probably 100 years ago.

In fact, I'd like to tell you why I asked this but I can't tell you for now.... I need to get her permission first to tell the story. ......

Anyone has any idea what the church is? Thanks ka.. :)

Why don't you just post the request asking someone to take you to this church? .... It's good that you can talk to your mom now. ... Maybe you can go with your mom. Just tell her that you want to see where your great grandfather had lived. ... The website that K. abc posted is great. Your mom can visit หลวงพ่อโต and you can also see the church... Isnn't it good? :)

แต่วัดกาลหว่าร์ จะมี แม่พระ อยู่ด้านหน้า เหนือประตูกลาง ของวัดเลยครับ แต่อยู่ ตลาดน้อยครับ

แต่อ่านประวัติดูแล้ว สัตบุรุษ ทั้งสองวัดนี้ก็มาจากกลุ่มเดียวกันจากอยุธยา ครั้งเมื่อพม่าตีกรุงแตก ครับ

Anyway, thanks a lot for all the responses. In fact, I asked this for newCA. Her great gradnfather just lived at Kudee Jean and I guess it would be good for her if she has a chance to visit the church her great grandfather had been to.

I myself like the old church in Thailand a lot. Before I came here, I decided to take a documentary trip to all the old church in Ayuthaya and Bangkok but I just didn't have time for that... Plus, I had no information too. .. It would be good if anybody just arranged such a trip... :)

I've heard about the church.. the 2 church that are close together. One belong to the cambodian and one belongs to the vietnamese. That church are also interesting....

If I go back Thailand, I'll definitely ask for this again... Thanks a lot everyone... :)
