Christmas for Jew

When I was in America, the choir I was in were about to perform the song called "Erev Shel Shoshanim"
The song was a very sloe-sad tempo song and my teacher told me that it was for Jew people to sing during Christmas
"Christmas has totally different meaning for them", my teacher said.
Therefore, I'm really wondering :
what exactly christmas mean to the Jews?
do they celebrate or anything?
