Thank you so much ka... But I'm sorry that I still don't understand... I mean what I said 'this can replace the washing ceremony' was from the footnote of John 2:1-11. You know, it's not in chapter 13. .... Well, I don't have the bible with me right now.. but I'll take a look at it later ka.. ANyway, my bible is New American Bible.

แต่พระเยซู ทรงถ่อมพระทัย ชำระ แก่สาวก เพราะรักพวกเขาจนถึงที่สุด นั่นคือเล็งถึงการตาย บนไม้กางเขน พระโลหิต ชำระสาวก ให้เป็นผู้ชอบธรรม ไถ่ สาวกให้รอด พ้นจากความบาป

ในข้อ หกบทที่ ๒ เรื่องโอ่ง ๖ ใบ ที่ใช้ในธรรมเนียม การชำระของชาวยิว เป็นเรื่องปกติของเขา เมื่อมีงานฉลอง ก็มีโอ่ง
หกใบ ซึ่งแต่ละใบบรรจุน้ำใบละ ๒๐-๓๐ แกลลอน เพื่อไว้ชำระแขกจำนวนมาก จากการศึกษา ถ้ามีงานฉลอง เขาจะชำระ โดย ใช้น้ำราดที่มือ ของแขกที่มาร่วมงาน

Is the water that Jesus changed into wine from those water they prepared for washing ceremony? ....

Yeah..... that's what I don't understand. It shouldn't be anything related to each other.... But it says in the footnote of chapter 2 as well as in the intro. ..... In the introduction of the gospel of John, it says the first sign of Jesus demonstrated the replacement of the Jewish washing ceremony.... It may not be related directly as you said... or this could be the catholic interpretation... Anyway, I decided not to mention this when I teach.. It's too esoteric...
